Baba Ghanoush (version XXIV)
Baba Gannouj,Baba Ganoush,Baba Ghanouj,Baba Ganouj,Baba Ghanooge (3 votes)
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 eggplants, diced
2 garlic cloves, peeled
1/2 lemon, juice only
4 tablespoons fresh basil
Heat the olive oil in a small frying pan before sautéing the eggplants until soft.
Transfer the eggplants and the rest of the ingredients to a food processor.
Blend until a rough paste is formed.
Scrape the baba ganoush into a bowl and serve with griddled bread or crackers.
